Ford, Bacon & Davis, LLC is a full-service engineering and construction services company based in Baton Rouge & Monroe, Louisiana, and Mobile, Alabama. Ford, Bacon & Davis (FB&D) has been established in the engineering and construction industry since 1894.

FB&D has the combined strength of reputation and recognition as well as experience and expertise in the process, pulp and paper, industrial power/cogeneration, and gas compression industries. The company has maintained continuous operations in Monroe, Louisiana since 1931 and Baton Rouge, Louisiana since 1973. FB&D is an independent Louisiana company maintaining a strong affiliation with S&B Engineers and Constructors, Ltd. of Houston, Texas.

FB&D has provided engineering and construction services for the chemical process and petrochemicals industries for a wide range of products including polymers, resins, acrylics, inorganics, chlor-alkali, specialties, and catalysts. In the pulp and paper industry, FB&D provides services for mill studies and expansion or modernizations, and has the ability to undertake a major grassroots mill facility. FB&D has project experience for wood handling, pulping, recausticizing, washing, bleaching, chemical recovery, stock preparation, and papermaking of most grades.

FB&D has been successfully completing power/energy projects since our first one in 1894. We have designed and installed over 100,000 miles of pipelines and designed for hundreds of thousands of gas compression gas horsepower. Design and construction of utilities, control systems, water and effluent treatment systems have also been successfully undertaken.

The Monroe operations of FB&D were acquired in November of 1996 by Process Services, Inc. (now FB&D), a Louisiana corporation with headquarters in Baton Rouge. FB&D (formerly PSI, Inc.) currently employs over 600 technical and support personnel and provides engineering and construction services for the refining, mining, and petrochemical industries in addition to the industries mentioned above, in the USA and abroad. FB&D is affiliated with the S&B Engineers and Constructors, Ltd. group of companies through common shareholder control.

In order to serve long-term customers in their international capital investment programs, S&B Group International, Ltd. has developed teaming relationships with key selected contractors that can bring a local presence and project execution capability to global regions on a project-by-project basis. In Asia-Pacific, S&B has teamed with Sembawang Engineering and Construction Pte Ltd.
