Ford, Bacon & Davis, LLC (FB&D) recently celebrated the completion of a major Hydrocracker Reconfiguration project for a large global petrochemical company which totaled over $300MM of total installed cost (TIC). This marks the successful completion of the final part of a portfolio of strategic major refinery integration projects for our client aimed at achieving a production capacity of over 500,000 barrels per day (BPD).
As part of the celebration, FB&D hosted celebratory breakfasts in April, and May, 2018, to honor the FB&D employees who worked diligently on the project, even while facing adversities, such as a client labor strike; the flood of 2016; and internal client changes.
"Our team delivered thefull Front End Development through Construction Support, including Material Management Services, on an extremely aggressive schedule,Ē stated Rob Ward, Manager of the Hydrocracker project.
Due to the collaboration and integration of the client with FB&D, the project schedule, safety goals, cost, and quality, all exceeded the clientís standards of excellence.
The project was considered the most successful project in the clientís facility, and received gold medal classification. Additionally, the clientís management awarded FB&Dís combined
team with 13 gold medals,
and three silver medals, for FB&Dís outstanding performance on this project.
FB&DíS quality of work, speed of delivery, and quick response to our client needs, at all areas of execution, allowed this global company to bring a valuable product to the market, years ahead of plan.
