FB&D offers an extensive engineering “toolbox” to our clients. Our approach to providing these technologies is based upon a robust evaluation of their applicability and cost effectiveness in relation to the type and complexity of the project.

FB&D has successfully combined the utilization of Laser Technology and 3D CAD with the development of our own Pentadise system which meets our high standards of quality and cost effectiveness.

By utilizing our Pentadise system FB&D accurately and efficiently gathers field information through the use of field lasers. Our software and lasers work in conjunction with one another to gather specific data points relative to the project thereby reducing the voluminous data generally developed by more outdated scanning methods.

From this data FB&D generates complete 3D models in a more cost and schedule effective approach. In addition to the above field measurement technology, our system provides a data centric review system for our clients so that they can review and query our 3D models at anytime during the engineering phase of a project.

In addition to utilizing laser technology for the development of 3D models, FB&D also provides our crews and lasers for construction efforts such as location validation, equipment validation, fabrication validation, constructability reports and accident investigation.
